PRIVACY POLICY

Prada S.p.A. (hereinafter “PRADA”), with registered office in Milan (Italy), the operating holding company of the Prada Group is committed to protecting the personal information (hereinafter “Personal Data”) of the members of the event “Prada Frames” (hereinafter the“Event”), hosted and conducted by PRADA, and hereby informs on how we process that Personal Data collected in context of the Event, and for what purposes.

1. Type of Personal Data

Within the limits of the purposes and methods described in this privacy policy the items of personal data collected and processed by PRADA may include the name, surname, e-mail address and location of the participants in the Event, as well as the photos and/or videos taken during the Event reproducing individually or in groups the subjects attending the Event.

2. Purpose and legal bases of the processing

Your Personal Data may be processed and used for the following purposes:
(a) to organize and/or conduct the Event (including sending the invitation, confirmation of your registration and other communications relating to the Event, and managing the lists of participants);
(b) to promote and communicate of the Event and the activities of the Prada Group, as well as subsequent historic archive purposes;
(c) marketing: to contact you and/or send you information and promotions, including commercial information, newsletters, advertising and catalogues concerning “Prada” and the other brands, products and services of the Prada Group.

2. Purpose and legal bases of the processing

Your Personal Data may be processed and used for the following purposes:
(a) to organize and/or conduct the Event (including sending the invitation, confirmation of your registration and other communications relating to the Event, and managing the lists of participants);
(b) to promote and communicate of the Event and the activities of the Prada Group, as well as subsequent historic archive purposes;
(c) marketing: to contact you and/or send you information and promotions, including commercial information, newsletters, advertising and catalogues concerning “Prada” and the other brands, products and services of the Prada Group.

We collect and use your Personal Data based on one or many of the legal basis provided for by the applicable data protection laws, including:
-we have obtained your prior consent (for example, when you opt-in to receive our marketing communications). Please note that you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, by sending an email to [email protected], or by using the “unsubscribe” link included in all of our commercial electronic communications, and/or by using any other appropriate procedures which may be made available to you by PRADA (e.g. by logging into your online account);
-the processing is necessary in connection with any contract between PRADA and you or the provision of services that you may request from us (for example, when you register for to the Event);
-we have to process your personal data to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3. Nature of the provision of personal data

The provision of data is optional, but necessary for the purposes of completing the registration and attending the Event.
By attending the Event you agree that you may to be photographed and/or video recorded during the course of the Event and grant PRADA, a royalty-free basis the irrevocable right, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to use, reproduce, distribute, publish, disclose, adapt, modify, alter, combine with other images, texts, graphics, videos and/or sounds, assemble, grant licenses or permission to third parties or authorize and otherwise exploit your image, anywhere worldwide and in perpetuity, in any print and/or digital media/support, including the internet, social media and digital channels, without any limitation, for the purposes of information, communication and promotion of the Event and the activities of the Prada Group and further archival and historical purposes.
The processing of your Personal Data for the purposes of marketing - referred to in section 2 letter (c) is optional and subject to your consent. If you do not consent, you will still be able to participate in the Event, but we will not be able to inform you of any other initiatives of interest to you and/or send you any other commercial information on the products, initiatives and events of the Prada Group.

4. Processing Methods

Your Personal Data will be processed by suitable electronic or automated means and computerised tools, or manually and on hard copy, exclusively for the purposes for which they have been collected and guaranteeing the security and confidentiality of any processed information through the adoption of appropriate measures to prevent its alteration, cancellation, destruction, unauthorized access or not allowed processing or actions not in accordance with the purpose of collection.

5. Transfer and disclosure of data

Whenever necessary and/or instrumental to the abovementioned purposes, PRADA may delegate the processing of Personal Data to outside service providers, including to other companies belonging to the Prada Group. These service providers will act on behalf of PRADA as data processors with a contractual obligation of confidentiality and will not use any Personal Data beyond the scope of the work outsourced.
As PRADA is part of an international network your Personal Data may be transferred abroad, even temporarily, in accordance with applicable legislation, including to locations outside the European Union. PRADA will take all appropriate security measures to guarantee an adequate level of protection of the transferred data and compliance with the requirements of the GDPR. In relation and in the exclusive context of the information, communication and promotion purposes referred to in letter (b) of section 2, the photos and/or videos taken during the Event may be published on the PRADA’s website and social profiles or other media and/or communicated to the press.

6. Retention period

Your Personal Data will be processed and stored for: (a) as long as required to carry out the purposes for which the Personal Data were collected, or (b) until you revoke your consent to the processing/storage of your Personal Data, if applicable.

7. Your rights

Please note that you may exercise your rights under the applicable data protection laws, including the right to request information as to whether your Personal Data is being processed and as to the characteristics of the processing, the right to rectification and erasure of your Personal Data, to limitation of the data processing, and/or to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority or take legal action if you believe there is non-compliance with the provisions of the applicable laws.
You also have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your Personal Data by PRADA at any time, without charge. The withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.
